From the airport, you should take the Jet 747 bus to Ferrytoll Park & Ride where you should change to the X59 bus to St Andrews bus station. Ask for a ticket to St Andrews on the Jet 747 for the cheapest option as this ticket remains valid on the X59.
Dundee Airport has daily flights from London Stansted airport. From the airport, you should make your way to Dundee bus station and catch the 99/99A/99B/99C/99D bus to St Andrews.
